An [?]18th-Century European lacquered-brass surveyor's plane-table ruler, stamped K.L.C. with a crown above and another indistinct stamp, variously calibrated, with two screw holes and a chamois leather sleeve with a faint ink inscription -- 42cm. (16½in.) ; an [?]18th-Century European lacquered-brass scale, one side with three scales calibrated for 1-90 in different units and a further scale on the other side -- 30.5cm. (12in.) long ; a 19th-Century pocket drawing set with ivory sector, brass protractor signed B.Hooke London , a lignum vitae parallel rule and various brass instruments, in black fishskin-covered case -- 17.3cm. (6¾in.) long ; and a drawing instrument stamped J. HANNAN 75 ROBERTSON GLASGOW comprising eleven folding parallel brass strips on two cross-bars See Illustration (3)
