Circa 1940 The engraved silvered dial signed HAMILTON LANCASTER, PA., U.S.A. , Arabic chapter ring with blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds ring at 6 engraved in the centre N4066, 1941 , subsidiary up-and-down sector at 12, calibrated 0-56, the movement with engine-turned steel plates engraved on the top plate MODEL 21, 14 JEWELS HAMILTON WATCH CO. LANCASTER, PENNA. Made in U.S.A. N 4066/1941 , the inside of the dial plate engraved 2E4066 , the movement with chain fusee and barrel, spring detent escapement, with jewelled locking stone, cut bimetallic balance with steel helical spring, brass bowl and gimbal, the three-tier brass-bound mahogany box with brass drop handles to the sides 7½ in. (19 cm.) sq. the box
