AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE VASE, HU, QING DYNASTY Katalognummer: CA0918-110 Massively cast, with gilded areas, good patina China 18th-19th century The hu shaped bronze vase with a central band of raised taotie on leiwen ground, interrupted by two vertical flanges, above which are two rings suspended by handles with further taotie masks on top. All below a band of confronted archaistic pairs of phoenixes on a leiwen ground, and above a border with six archaistic cicada blades.
