Of typical form, the rounded body stands on a ring foot, the neck flares to an everted rim, flanked by the two arched handles, with a palmette depicted below each, the obverse with three nude youths, the central figure resting on a column, the reverse with two draped figures, 22.5cm high. Provenance: Property from the collection of the Royal Society of Literature, acquired prior to 1980.
