AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY AGATE AND ENAMEL 8-DAY MINUTE REPEATING MINIATURE DESK CLOCK, ATTRIBUTED TO LACLOCHE FRÈRES Rectangular gilt-brass lever movement, key-wound, repeating and striking on two hammers onto two gongs by depressing an agate cabochon pushpiece at the top, the circular white enamel dial with black painted Roman numerals, outer railway minute divisions and Arabic five minute numerals, diamond-set hands, rectangular case with champlevé white enamel linear and foliate decoration, diamond-set and enamelled bezel, raised on a shaped agate base, circa 1900, 7.4cm high, base 5.3 x 6.4cm, original fitted case by Lacloche Frères Movement signed Nocture, numbered 4250 and engraved BREVET30225 Attributed to Lacloche Frères, Rue de la Paix, Paris, movement by Nocturne, Swiss and no. 4250
