Beschreibung:

An early 20th century Indian emerald, pearl and freshwater pearl necklace, composed of five polished emerald beads with pearl drop tassels (untested) and similar caps, attached to a graduated freshwater pearl necklace (untested), with a single emerald and pearl (untested) matching drop, later converted to a pendant, a cloth bound fitted case, the lid bearing the statement 'From the Collection of the Court of Lahore formed by H.H the Maharajah Runjeet Singh, & lastly worn by her highness the late Maharanee Jeddan Kower', with a tear and mark where the retailers stamp should be Jewels from the Court of Lahore belonging to the Maharajah Runjeet Singh were sold by Frazer & Hawes from Garrards in Regent Street London, and packaged in fitted presentation cases with inscriptions as the lot offered here
