Smith & Sons, Edinburgh , the arch with subsidiary chime/silent, slow/fast and Chime-on-Eight Bells/Westminster Chimes, in rosewood and brass inlaid case, the arched glazed door flanked by fluted gilt-spelter Corinthian columns, surmounted by a moulded arched cornice, the stepped pediment centred by a gilt-spelter pineapple finial, four similar finials to the angles, on indented ribbed and moulded base, with fluted brass cushion supports, 30½in. (77.5cm) high
