Lot Description: An Early Victorian Mahogany, Rosewood Crossbanded and Marquetry Inlaid Dwarf Linen Press, mid 19th century , with reeded edge above two cupboard doors inlaid with acanthus scrolls enclosing five sliding trays, flanked by five graduated drawers to each side, on ring turned legs, 206cm by 54cm by 121cm Condition Report: . In good unrestored condition. Top with general scratches, some deep. General bruising consistent with age. Previous handle marks to drawers one, two and three on the left, and one and two to the right. Minor faults to cockbeading. One drawer has a fine natural? Split. Cupboard doors, no bowing. With key and working lock for central cupboard doors. No key for the drawers, but all open. Reeded base and side with numerous scuffs consistent with age. 041019 ARR: Categories: Antique Furniture
