AN EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER INKSTAND MARK OF HAYNE & CATER, LONDON, 1839 With foliate scroll and floral border and shell handles, on bifurcated foliate feet, with 2 silver-mounted hexagonal glass bottles flanking a central taperstick in form of a thistle atop a baluster receptacle, with presentation inscription to Mayor Edward Moor for his work on the board of the Woodbridge Union and engraved with his crest, a Moor's head 13½ in. (33.5 cm.) long 30 oz. (930 gm.)
