An Edwardian five-piece tea and coffee service, comprising: a fluted tapering moulded oval coffee pot, teapot, gilt-lined milk jug and gilt-lined sugar basin on rococo scrolling foliate feet and with moulded everted rims, each engraved with a floral and foliate frieze and with two vacant rococo foliate cartouches, the teapot and coffee pot with ebonised wood scroll handles and fluted domed hinged covers with fluted oval wood finials, and a shaped oval two-handled tea tray with moulded rim and plain ground, in a plush and satin-lined fitted oak carrying case, the hinged cover with brass cartouche with later inscription, James Dixon & Son, Sheffield 1907 and 1908 - height of coffee pot 9½in.
