AN EGYPTIAN BRIGHT BLUE TURQUOISE GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULET OF NEHEBKAU THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, CIRCA 10TH-9TH CENTURY B.C. The snake-headed god with human hands supporting an extended head, 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) high; an 'Egyptian blue' inscribed statuette of Mut, the hieroglyphs on the back column reading "made for the Deputy of the Necropolis Ptah-ir-dis ", circa 7th-6th Century B.C., 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high; a bright blue glazed composition openwork plaque of Heh (eternity), New Kingdom, circa 1400-1100 B.C. or earlier, 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high; a turquoise and purple glazed composition ball, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) high; a large turquoise glazed composition cowrie shell, 2 in. (5 cm.) long, both Middle Kingdom-New Kingdom, 19th-15th Century B.C.; and a nodule of Egyptian 'blue' (6)
