Of elongated trapezoidal form surmounted by a seated cat, the face finely modelled, with incised ears, eyes and whiskers, the forepaws together, the tail wrapped around the proper right side of the body, the box inscribed with single line of hieroglyphs reading: 'Bastet gives life to An-Bastet' 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high; 15 ½ in. (39.2 cm.) long
