An Empire ormolu and bronze striking mantel clock, late 18th/early 19th century The case modelled with the figure of a youth pouring a hod of grapes into a barrel, also flanked by a further panier of grapes, on stepped D-sided base mounted with a relief plaques to the front of amorini picking grapes and of bunches of grapes with vine leaves, on six toupie feet (two detached), the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic quarters signed Villey à Bourg , with steel moon hands (minute replaced), the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 13¼in.
