An English gilt brass carriage timepiece, Garrard, late 20th century, with eight-day 11 jewelled movement and platform lever escapement, the white Roman numeral dial inscribed GARRARD LONDON the case engraved in script to the top 'With love from Diana X.' 12cm high excluding handle The inscription engraved in facsimile script which appears to match that of the late Diana, Princess of Wales (1961-1997). Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, some wear to the gilt surface The inscription is clear and crisp There are no keys, the The clock movement is untested and Dreweatts cannot make any guarantees it is in working order or give any comments as to accuracy of time keeping.
