An engraved composite-stemmed light-baluster goblet CIRCA 1760, THE GLASS ENGLAND OR SOUTHERN NETHERLANDS, PERHAPS ENGRAVED BY JACOB SANG OR HIS WORKSHOP The funnel bowl with a continuous scene of a lady holding a child in her arms and another by the hand, with a flower vase and a hound on a chest beneath the inscription AL WAT ONS LIEF IS 'everything which is dear to us', upon a knopped section enclosing spiralling airtwist threads and a beaded inverted baluster section, conical foot (the stem repaired) 20.1 cm. high
