AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE MIRROR CIRCA 3RD CENTURY B.C. The cast circular disk engraved on the reverse with three goddesses, Tiur, Lasa and Turan, all identified by inscriptions, with winged Lasa standing at center, facing left, holding a thyrsos in her right hand, depicted nude but for her shoes and a triangular and lunate pendant necklace, her curly locks bound in a fillet, the winged moon goddess Tiur seated to the left, the goddess of love Turan seated to the right, a fillet adorning her short locks, both depicted nude but for a draped himation, shoes, and jewelry, with two horizontal crescent moons in the field, a palmette below; the slightly convex obverse with beading around the rim, a palmette incised at the base, tapering into a short slightly flaring tenon 10 7/16 in. (26.5 cm.) long
