An German flatware service Struck with retailer's mark J.H. Werner, Berlin, also struck with standard mark, early 20th Century All with shaped handles chased with lilies enclosing a panel engraved with the coat-of-arms of the Van Plessen family, comprising: twenty-four table spoons; thirty-six table forks; twenty-four dessert spoons; twenty-three dessert forks; thirty-six table knives; twenty-four dessert knives with silver blade; twenty-four oyster forks; twelve shaped circular butter dishes; eleven butter knives; a soup-ladle; a pair of asparagus thongs; and a pair of fish servers, all in original fitted wood canteen, marked on handles 9450 gr.
