AN IMPORTANT ART DECO SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND DRESS CLIP, BY CARTIER The baguette-cut diamond plaque of geometric motif, centering upon a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 6.80 carats, further enhanced by three buff-top calibre-cut sapphire rows, mounted in platinum, circa 1930, 3.8 cm long Signed Cartier Accompanied by report no. 53420 dated 26 March 2009 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the 6.80 carat sapphire is of Kashmir origin with no indications of heating Accompanied by report CS 37386 dated 21 October 2004 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that it is the opinion of the Laboratory that the origin of the sapphire would be classified as Kashmir, heat enhancement: none, clarity enhancement: none
