AN IMPORTANT COLOURED DIAMOND AND DIAMOND RING
AN IMPORTANT COLOURED DIAMOND AND DIAMOND RING Set with a marquise-cut very light pink diamond weighing 15.47 carats within a diamond surround, to the diamond gallery and shoulders, mounted in 18k white gold, ring size 5¾ With report no. 15070850 dated 5 July 2006 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is very light pink, natural colour, internally flawless clarity With report no. 0608087 dated 16 August 2006 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamond is very light pink, natural colour, internally flawless clarity. Accompanied by an appendix and note stating the diamond of 15.47 carat possesses a purity of colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of natural colour type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this type and size, exhibiting a superior quality, are very rare. Such diamonds have been unearthed from only a limited number of sources around the world (e.g. South Africa, Brazil and India).
