AN IMPORTANT PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SAUCEBOATS MARK OF JOHN PARKER & EDWARD WAKELIN LONDON, 1771 Each oval, on oval foot chased with laurel border, the body gadrooned with applied husk festoons centering an oval patera, with scroll and rosette terminals, one terminal engraved with a Garter Motto beneath a Marquess' coronet, with scratchweight 32=4 and 33=10 each marked under base, one apparently lacking maker's mark 9 in. (22.9 cm.) long; 63 oz. 10 dwt. (1975 gr.) (2)
