AN IMPORTANT PAIR OF SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS
AN IMPORTANT PAIR OF SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS Each set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 17.25 and 15.09 carats, to the cushion-shaped diamond spacers weighing 3.23 and 3.23 carats, mounted in platinum, 3.4 cm long Accompanied by two reports nos. 1006568 and 1006567 dated 2 July 2010 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 17.25 and 15.09 carat sapphires are of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating; this colour variety of sapphire may also be called "royal blue" in the trade Report no. CS42435 A and B dated 18 June 2010 2008 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that based on available gemological information, it is the opinion of the Laboratory that the two sapphires weighing a total of 32.34 carats are natural, the origin of this material would be classified as Burma (Myanmar), heat enhancement: none, clarity enhancement: none; also accompanied by jewelfolio and a letter stating that richly saturated blue sapphire of Burmese origin in this size and quality are very rare. Finding a single gem with these attributes is already very difficult. To find such a well-matched pair is exponentially more exclusive Also accompanied by two reports nos. 1112430433 and 5111483503 dated 30 June 2010 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 3.23 and 3.23 carat diamonds are G colour, VS2 clarity (2)
