Geneve', the micromosaic from the Barberi workshop, Rome, circa 1840 Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover inset with a fine rectangular micromosaic depicting a waterfall in a mountainous landscape, within a raised black and white enamelled rim, the sides and base panels of frosted gold and enamelled en relief with multi-colour flowers finely painted in opaque enamel and with leaves in translucent green enamel, the borders enamelled with translucent green leaves and white chevrons, the four corners of the base walls chased with fluted columns 3 3/8 in. (87 mm.) wide
