An imposing cabochon emerald and diamond parure Comprising a tiara, necklace, pair of earrings, bracelet, brooch and ring, the fringe necklace with vertical three-line drop front and openwork rose-cut diamond cluster or single collet intersections, the similarly mounted tiara of stylised kokoshnik design, the single line bracelet with seven cabochon emeralds between rose-cut diamond openwork foliate panel spacers, the brooch designed as an emerald three-stone line with rose-cut diamond detail suspending a cabochon emerald drop, each rose-cut diamond mounted cabochon emerald ear-pendant with diamond foliage and drop intersection, the cabochon emerald and diamond cluster ring with diamond detail to the split shoulders, all mounted in silver and gold, the closed back settings engraved with flowers and foliage, early 19th Century, with French assay and maker's mark M.N., necklace 40.0cm. long, tiara 13.0cm. wide, bracelet 19.0cm. long and brooch 7.0cm. wide, in fitted green tooled leather case with initials R.L. and later added arms of Marie-Antoinette, wife of Louis XVI (1774-1792) (6)
