An Impressive Pair of Bronze Incense Burners [ Koro ] Meiji Period (late 19th century) Each tall sectional body chiselled and inlaid in gilt, with cranes over waves, the central section with waves and applied handles, the bases with shells amongst waves, above which is a coiled dragon, each with an elaborate pierced cover with ho-o birds in flight, surmounted by an eagle Each 80cm. high (2)
