AN OFFICER'S FULL DRESS JACKET OF THE (BRITISH) ROYAL HORSE ARTILLERY, AND OTHER ITEMS The jacket early 20th Century; accoutrements late 19th Century; the box mid-20th Century Blue cloth with scarlet collar (bearing embroidered grenades), heavily embellished overall with gold cord, the gilt ball-buttons bearing the 'King's crown' (1902-52) over the Gun, Captain's badges of rank in silver embroidery on the plaited gold shoulder-cords, tailor's label inside of J. DANIELS & CO., WOOLWICH AND ST. JAMES'S, LONDON; together with an officer's Full Dress pouch, shoulder-belt and sword-slings of the Royal Artillery, the pouch of dark blue leather with dark blue cloth flap (some moth-damage) edged with gold lace (partly detached) and richly embroidered with the Victorian Royal Arms and other devices, (the pouchbelt and sword-slings in relic condition), and a companion Victorian sabretache-flap of the Royal Artillery, bearing similar devices to those on the pouch, (some moth damage and severe tarnishing), now mounted as the lid of a black leather-covered box (probably for writing paper) The box approximately 12½in. long (4)
