AN ORMOLU AND SEVRES PORCELAIN-MOUNTED, KINGWOOD, TULIPWOOD AND PARQUETRY GUERIDON in the manner of Martin Carlin , the plaque circa 1783 and with flower painting attributed to Nicolas Bulidon or Edmé-Francois Bouillat , the base 19th Century The pierced basket-weave galleried oval top enclosing a Sèvres porcelain plaque painted with a ribbon-suspended basket of roses, peonies, honeysuckles, morning-glories and other flowers as well as a fly and a snail, within a bead and reel gilded border, the frieze with four quarter-veneered panels within stiff-leaf frames, on rosette-headed waved legs suspended with ribbon-bound fruiting garlands, joined at the base by a further oval white marble undertier, on acanthus-headed cabriole legs and foliate scroll sabots with castors, the plaque painted with the Sèvres interlaced L's and painters mark B.. 17½in. (44.5cm.) wide; 29¼in. (74.5cm.) high; 13¾in. (35cm.) deep
