AN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND IRON-RED-DECORATED 'DRAGON' DISH DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850) The dish is decorated to the centre of the interior with an iron-red five-clawed dragon above crashing waves. The exterior is decorated with nine further iron-red dragons on a similar ground below a stylised floral border at the rim. 7 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.
