Mid 19th to late 19th century Comprising twenty-three prints attributed to Hiroshige II or III, incomplete, from the series `Nihon Meisho' (Famous places in Japan), depicting well known sites and landmarks in Harima, Kyoto, Omi, Izumi, Kii, Tango, Settsu, Kochi, Yamato and others, chuban, 18cm x 25cm (7in x 9¾in), no censor or publisher's seal, unsigned; three sheets from Hiroshige I: `Ryogoku Hanabi' from the series `100 Famous Views of Edo', `Nihon Fujizukushi Toto Edo bashi' and `Ishiyama Shugetsu' from the `Omi Hakkei' series; a yakusha-e of Ichikawa Danzo by Yoshitora; a bijin-ga by Ichigyokusai Kunitaka and another actor print of Segawa Kikunojyo by Kuniyoshi, variously signed and published, and two facsimile prints after Hiroshige; oban, the largest 38.5cm x 26cm (15 1/8in x 10¼in).
