Engraved double-page pictorial titles, 42 engraved double-page town plans, 2 engraved lists of plates (some light offsetting). Contemporary polished calf (rebacked). Provenance : Sir George Musgrave Elden Hall (armorial bookplate). FIRST EDITION. The beautifully executed town plans by John Andrews include, in addition to the European, Asian and Asiatic cities, three of American interest: Quebec, Lima, and Carthagena. See Phillips Atlas 3291.
