Andy Warhol (1928-1987) A rare and unusual collection of six complete artist's books from 1953-59, some with extensive and fresh hand-coloring, including: 25 Cats Name[d] Sam and One Blue Pussy , New York, the artist, circa 1954, (Feldman & Schellmann IV.52A-68A) the complete set of 18 offset lithographs with hand-coloring (including the cover), and signed colophon, on laid paper, copy 110 of 190, bound with the original white buckram boards (as issued). 234 x 156 mm. Ralph Thomas Ward A is an Alphabet , New York, the artist, 1953, (F. & S. IV.1-26) the complete set of 26 offset lithographs and poems, on thin wove paper, (F. & S. IV.10) signed and initialed in felt-tip pen, (F. & S. IV.20) initialed in felt-tip pen, from the edition of approximately 100, loose (as issued) with the original tracing vellum cover signed in felt-tip pen by the artist and annotated "Andrew Morningstar" (lacking the typewritten octagonal label). 240 x 153 mm.
