A fine and rare 18K pink gold skeletonized openface quarter repeating jaquemarts watch with concealed erotical automaton Unsigned, circa 1820 With full plate gilt-finished keywound movement, engraved and pierced balance cock, plain three arm steel balance, gilt cuvette, the skeletonized dial centred by a small white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, the skeletonized surround surmounted by a varicoloured gilt scene depicting two standing figures striking the bells, a chased panel depicting a varicoloured gilt vase of flowers sliding open to reveal an automaton erotic scene, all activated in unison with the repeating, in plain circular case with coin-edged band, repeating through the pendant, pendant locking lever in the band, unsigned 56 mm. diam.
