ANOTHER SIMILAR GROUP OF GOLD JEWELLERY comprising three repoussé gold openwork appliqués in the form of a winged eagle with head in profile to the left within a ridged border, four small hoop attachments on underside, 2.2cm. diam.; an appliqué sheet gold bird; seven repoussé gold appliqués depicting a rampant winged griffin within a ridged border, two small hoop attachments on underside, 1.5cm. diam.; four repoussé bronze appliqués with horned moufflons, 1.4cm. diam.; and two thin flattened silver rings with confronting snake heads, circa 6th Century B.C.
