Antique Gold, Foiled-Back Pink Topaz and Turquoise Pendant-Necklace The necklace composed of 14 cushion-shaped foiled-back pink topaz within finely detailed gold leaves and scrolls, quartered by small polished gold balls, flanked by cabochon turquoises, spaced by 14 cabochon turquoises quartered by finely detailed gold leaves, accented by small polished gold balls, joined by a detailed flower link centering one round foiled-back pink topaz, suspending a stylized Maltese cross pendant centering one cushion-shaped foiled-back pink topaz, quartered by 4 oval foiled-back pink topaz and 4 oval cabochon turquoises, edged by delicate gold work of similar design, circa 1830, pendant detachable, one turquoise missing, approximately 30.6 dwts. Foiled-back pink topaz: pale to medium pink, several minor scratches, lively. Turquoise: medium deep turquoise blue, overall well-matched, one missing at end. Very nice gold work. Closed backs. Rich yellow gold hue on reverse. Good condition. Width of links 5/8 to 7/16". Pendant 2 x 1 1/2" ( including pendant loop).
