Antique North West Persian runner, prob Meshkin area, N.W. Persia, Ca 1900 Runners of this general style were made throughout Persian Azerbadjian and Hamadan, yet structural details points this piece to the north near Meshkin with a possible Kurdish influence. Old runners in good order are very hard to find as they were used in concentrated high traffic areas and accordingly suffered serious neglect. 312 x 89 cms, 10'3'' x 2'11'' Antique North West Persian runner, prob Meshkin area, N.W.
