Gloucester and of Barton on the Heath Co Warwick [family of Sir Thomas Overbury]"; "Barton on the Heath. Great & Little Wolford Rollrich Stones & Little Compton in the Co: of Warwick"; "Cotswold Games (Robert Dover)"; "Sir Thomas Phillipps Reminiscences of Dr. Dover's Cotswold games - taken down from his own mouth Feb 8 1860"; "Rev. "The pretended Princess Olive [Olivia Serres (1772-1834), known as Olive; British painter and writer; known as an English impostor, who claimed the title of Princess Olive of Cumberland] was niece to Dr Wilmot of Barton on the Heath & to Robert Wilmot of Barwick. Dr Wilmot was Tutor to Wm Pitt & it is said, was the author of Junius." Frederick Leigh Colvile was a member of the Leigh family of Stoneleigh Abbey (he was the nephew of Chandos Leigh), and was consequently related to Jane Austen. His Worthies of Warwickshire who lived between 1500 and 1800, was published in 1869.
