An internal MSC distribution 16 mm. motion picture reel of the Maurer Data Acquisition Camera (DAC) film magazine that recorded the descent and landing of Lunar Module "Eagle" on Apollo 11. The label reads in part: "Apollo XI, mag I, color print, MSC Form 492". The initial scene contains lunar orbit landmark tracking them after a roll maneuver by the LM, the final descent to the surface. Film records Neil Armstrong's manual fly-over a deep rocky crater that the computer was targeting for the landing spot. Landing was made with less than 30 seconds of fuel remaining. The most significant film footage ever made during the Apollo program.
