Bucher, inn welchen die geometrischen Fundament Euclids & als in einem Handbuch beschreiben werden, first edition, Gothic letter, title within engraved architectural border, woodcut initials and diagrams, 2 folding woodcut diagrams, dampstaining to head of first few ff., bound in a vellum leaf from a fourteenth-century manuscript, [Tomash & Williams A92; VD17 39:121225G], 4to, Zurich, Johann Jakob Bodmer, 1627. ⁂ "The majority of the work deals with commonly encountered survey problems: finding heights of towers, areas of land, etc. The work is notable for the use of a mirror in dealing with some of the more difficult problems" - Tomash & Williams.
