[Naples]: "1708" [1709]. Small 4° (215 x 152mm). CONTEMPORARY NEAPOLITAN RED MOROCCO GILT. Centre of a quatrefoil of flowers surrounded by four birds and a field of small circular scrolling massed tools filled with dots, flowers, caterpillars, butterflies, squirrels and two figures of seated men, outer border of roses and other flowers, edges gilt and gauffered, buckram case. A polemic about the ecclesiastical benefices to be given to the King of Spain. This is probably the presentation copy to Carlo Borromeo Arese, appointed viceroy of Naples in 1710.
