A collection of three works of Aristotelian logic richly annotated by "Gabriel Riviere", a contemporary scholar, probably a Parisian student, who comments extensively on numerous passages of the Latin texts. 4to (230 x 170mm). Engraved initials (the second work has a binding error, d6 is bound after e6 instead of c4; small woodworm hole running in the lower right corner). Contemporary calf binding with plates decorated with four lilies at the corners and central medallion, manuscript title on edges (rebacked with modern spine, worn plates). Provenance: Gabriel Riviere (several ownership inscription in the text).
