Autograph letter signed to Dr Behms, 16 April -18]27, 'I enclose the acc t s for the caricatures', on charges and on finalising a book of etchings, 1 page, 4to (repaired seal tear); Count GLEICHEN (1833-1891). Two autograph letters signed to Lady Molesworth, Studio, St James's Palace, 8 August [1900], the first regarding Axel Munthe who 'never ceases writing to ask me to find out where & how Captain Ford is'; and in the second 'I am so sorry to bother you with more inquiries of Captain Ford!', enclosing a card from Dr Munthe [not present] and providing his address on Capri; and other matters, together 5½ pages, 8vo , and an autograph envelope; John RUSKIN (1819-1900). Autograph letter to Clifford Harrison, Brantwood, Coniston, 4 February [18]85, on his delight at Harrison's praise of his books, and asking to see his drawings, to observe 'the degree in which the faculties of music and intelligent eloquence express themselves in style of drawing', 2 pages, 8vo (traces of mounts in corners).
