Associated Pair of Nymphenburg White Porcelain Busts of Laughing Children (Kinderbust) Circa 1761, modeler Franz Anton Bustelli The boy with his hair tied at the nape of his neck with a bow, wearing a loose ruffled shirt and jacket; his female companion with a ribbon and tulip bud in her hair, wearing a frilled collar and white lace corsage, each on a pierced waisted quatrefoil rocaille-molded socle base. Height 10 inches and 10 7/8 inches, respectively. Provenance: The Wetmore Estate, Newport, RI. Parke-Bernet Galleries, 16-18 September 1969, . See C.H.
