A collection of vintage photographs by Nasa's pioneering astronauts. Nasa Apollo Press Release Photograph Collection – Signed Inscribed Photo - Official NASA Photo. Collection of 19 official NASA photo portraits of the Apollo astronauts, each individually signed. All are 10 by 8 inches in black and white. Many photographs are accompanied by a sheet with biographical information hand-written in French by a previous collector. Includes: Neil Armstrong; John Young; Charles Arthur "Charlie" Bassett II; Scott Carpenter; Edward H White; Edwin Eugene Aldrin; William Anders; Russell "Rusty" Schweickart; David Randolph Scott; Michael Collins; James Lovell; Walter Cunningham; Charles Conrad, Jr.; Donn Fulton Eisele; Richard Gordon Jr. 1964; Wally Schirra Jr. 1962. James Mcdivitt. Two Signed Inscribed Photo, 1965. John Glenn Signature. 1963. Lot containing two French magazines of 1963 and two photographs taken from newspapers: one with the astronaut in 1962, the other, signed by Glenn, with the departure of the Mercury missile of 1963. The two publications are: L’ère aérospatiale, Tirage spécial du numéro 181 de la revue Informations & Documents, Paris, Centre Culturel Americain – 1963; Article "Canaveral a l'heure de la victoire", with photographs of Cape Canaveral and preface by Wernher von Braun. Frank Frederick Borman II. Lot with a signed portrait and four other photographs. Portrait signed by Frank Borman, with Borman’s name printed to bottom. The other photographs are: Astronaut Frank Borman during parasail training. ELLINGTON AFB - Identifier S63-13012. Three photographs with the astronaut together with the famous French aviator Joseph Frantz, 1890 - 1979, at the time President of the Vieilles Tiges association. Lot with an official NASA picture, a booklet and two folded leaflets. 1964. The Official NASA Picture is: Communications satellites, 205x255 mm (8'' x 10''). On the white margin: NASA S-64-14281. The booklet is: L'espace, Paris, Desfosses, 1964, by the Centre national d'études spatiales, in-8vo, with many photographs The two illustrated leaflets are: USA – Contributions Americaines a l’aviation et a la recherche spatiale; USA F TITAN III LV-5, by Martin Company, a Division of Martin Marietta Corporation.
