De le lettere facete, et piacevoli di diversi grandi huomini, et chiari ingegni. Venice: Bolognino Zaltieri 1561, woodcut printer's device on title-page, library stamp on verso of title-page (obscured), with blank leaf **4 ACHILLES TATIUS. Amorosi ragionamenti. Dialogo, nel quale si racconta un compassionevole amore di due amanti, tradotto per M. Lodovico Dolce. Venice: Gabriele Giolito de Ferrari, 1546, woodcut device on title-page and above colophon, woodcut initials 2 works in one volume, 8vo (150 x 97mm.), contemporary Roman brown morocco elaborately gilt by Niccolò Franzese, lettered Il PEREGRINO on upper cover and DIEGO DE LA BASTIDA on lower cover, edges gilt and gauffered, stubs of two pairs of silk ties, upper joint cracked, spine chipped The tools can be identified with the work of Niccolò Franzese, a binder active in Rome in the mid-sixteenth century.
