Original-Portrait-Photographie mit signierter eigenhändiger Widmung Zur Erinnerung an die Investitur zum Schwarzen Adlerorden. Berlin, 18. Jan. 1906. Format ca. 27,7 x 14 cm. Auf Kt. unter Glas im hölzernen Biedermeier-Rahmen (ca. 53,5 x 37 cm) mit mont. Metall-Krone u. schw. quadrat. Eckbeschlägen mit aufgesetzen Lorbeerkränzen (1 Eckbeschlag sowie 3 Lorbeerkränze fehlend), mit rückseitigem Messingaufsteller.
Photo des königlichen Hofphotographen Emil Bieber (1878-1962) von 1906 mit dessen Prägestempel. Dargestellt wird der Prinz in Ganzfigur im Habit des Schwarzen Adlerordens mit schwarzem Ordensmantel, Bruststern sowie mit Collane u. Kreuz. - Der Schwarze Adlerorden war der höchste der preuß. Orden. Gestiftet durch König Friedrich I. im Jahr 1701, wird er seit 1919 nur noch an Mitglieder des Hauses Hohenzollern verliehen. - Die Rahmung erfolgte laut Schild verso durch den kgl. Hoflieferanten E. Heidekamp, Kunsthandlung in Potsdam. - Photo leicht fleckig.

The Prince is depicted in full figure in the habit of the Black Eagle Order with black cloak, breast star as well as with collane and cross. - The Black Eagle Order was the highest of the Prussian Order. Order of the Black Eagle. Founded by King Friedrich I. in 1701, since 1919 it is only awarded to members of the House of Hohenzollern. - The framing was according to the shield on the backside by the royal purveyor to the court E. Heidekamp, art dealer in Potsdam. - Photo slightly stained.
