Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) Torse masculin debout stamped with the signature, dated and numbered 'A.Rodin N o . 9 © 1971' (on the base of the right leg and on the stem); inscribed with the foundry mark 'Susse Fondeur Paris' (on the underside of the left leg) bronze with brown and green patina Height: 6 3/8 in. (16 cm.) Conceived in 1885-1890 and cast between 1969 and 1974 in an edition of twelve plus one for the Musée Rodin; this work cast in June 1971
