Ausslegung und beschreybung der Anatomi oder warhafften abconterfetung eines inwendigen cörpers des Manns und Weybes mit erklerung seiner innerlichen gelider... Nuremberg: Hans Guldenmundt, 1539. 4 o (193 x 140 mm). 10 woodcut illustrations, with contemporary hand-coloring, headlines highlighted in green, underlines and capital strokes supplied in red (some worming to margins, light browning and staining). Modern boards of an old printed sheet. FIRST EDITION. The woodcut illustrations represent "individual organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavities and conveying popular instruction in anatomy and remedies for various diseases" (Choulant). The work is attributed to Heinrich Vogtherr and the text was "designed to accompany the plates published under titles: Anatomia (or Anothomia) eines Mans Leib [and eines Weibs Leib]." Choulant-Frank, p.157; NLM/Durling 361.
