Beschreibung:

Austria and Other European Countries A valuable holding in a stock book containing upwards of two thousand stamps from Austria with Offices, Bosnia, Czechoslovakia, Eastern Silesia, Hungary and Switzerland. As with all offerings from this splendid collection there is a nice mix of Mint and Used with issues to about 1935, probably the time the stock was put away. The unused is primarily hinged yet with some never hinged stamps. The Austria includes a valuable group of semi-postals, including a Lightly Hinged WIPA sheet. The early Swiss includes three Cantonal and a nice run of early federal issues. Here, as with other books from this collection, the stamps are all neatly arranged by Scott numbers, which will help to make examination an easier task and assist in determining the true value of this holding. Overall Good to Very Fine, Above Average. G/VF C Property of a Greenwich Village Collector
