A collection of autograph letters signed, letters signed and other documents, the majority addressed to Eric Parker as editor of the Country Gentleman , including autograph letters signed by: Rudyard KIPLING (21 June 1905, on a campaign about sanitation, 'I'd sooner win through without help and possibly shall if I am not first cut off by typhoid', one page, 8vo ), H.G. WELLS (1904, 'I have no short stories unpublished & any I do write go, under a monopoly agreement to the Shaw Magazine '), Max BEERBOHM (two, including one with a series of whimsical series of drawings of farming in Yorkshire), also including letters of Laurence & Laura Alma Tadema, Edith Somerville, Winston Churchill (stamped signature), H. Rider Haggard (letter signed), Lord Rosebery and others, altogether approximately 38 items , backed onto the pages of an album, limp vellum.
