Croker, Lord Roberts, John Morley (2), Earl of Rosebery (3), Octavia Hill, Viscount Wolseley, Zachary Macaulay (2), Earl of Shaftesbury, 1879; Stanley Baldwin; and many others, to various correspondents including the first Marquis and Marchioness of Aberdeen; Louis of Stolberg-Gedern, Countess of Albany (signature on a fragment cut from an autograph letter), wife of Charles Edward Stuart, the Young Pretender; also military commission signed by Queen Victoria, countersigned by Palmerston, 1853; document signed by Ras Prince Monolulu, deed poll as to change of name, 1947; conveyances (4); printed Acts of Parliament (3); autogaph statement signed by Alix 'Hurricane' Higgins, relating to incidents during a snooker tournament in Hartlepool, addressed to 'Dear Sun, Readers. and. Snooker. FANS IN Hartlepool [sic], 1 1/2 pages, folio [1973] with newspaper cuttings relating to his role as world professional snooker champion'; altogether approximately 400 letters and documents.
