Baird Television: a press photograph of Baird on his wedding day, the reverse with typed caption: 'Television Wizard and Bride Flout Friday 13th Scare. New York..John Logie Baird, father of television, with his bride, the British concert pianist Maragaret Cecilia Albu after their marriage at Coney Island. The Scotch inventor is hailed as the one who has brought television farthest along the road toward its commercial realization. Friday 13th didn't scare this couple'; a press photograph of a televised boxing match, the reverse with ink-stamp 4 Fevr. 1935 and typed caption: 'This contest, taking place in the No I Studio at the Crystal Palace Studios of the Baird Television Company, is being transmitted by the Baird Intermediate Film Process. The Postmaster General on Jan 31 announced in the House of Commons, that Television would be in full swing by the end of the year'; and a photographic print of a home-built Televisor. (3)
